Zip File Instructions
On PC (Windows):
Navigate to the Folder:
On your computer, locate the folder you want to zip.
Select the Folder:
Click once on the folder to highlight it.
Right-Click:
Right-click on the selected folder.
Choose “Send to” and “Compressed (zipped) folder”:
Hover over the “Send to” option in the context menu, and then select “Compressed (zipped) folder.”
Wait for Compression:
The system will create a ZIP file with the same name as your folder in the same location. Depending on the size of the folder, this may take a moment.
Rename the ZIP File (Optional):
If you want, you can rename the ZIP file by right-clicking on it and selecting “Rename.”
On Mac:
Navigate to the Folder:
On your computer, locate the folder you want to zip.
Select the Folder:
Click once on the folder to select it.
Right-Click or Control-Click:
Right-click (or Control-click) on the selected folder.
Choose “Compress” Option:
From the context menu, select the “Compress” option. This will create a compressed ZIP file with the same name as your folder.
Wait for Compression:
The compression process will begin, and you’ll see a progress bar. Once it’s done, a new ZIP file will appear in the same location as the original folder.
